In 2008, amidst historic growth, The Playwrights' Center recognized the need to clearly communicate its services to its stakeholders through a thorough examination of its mission, vision, and program execution. In addition, the more than doubling of Center activity in the past two years required reorganization of programmatic goals and objectives to enhance the Center's focus and deepen the opportunities offered to playwrights.
