Untitled New Work by Ansa Akyea

A West African dictator finds himself in exile and in hiding in Minnesota as a mall cop at the Mall of America. Haunted by his past deeds and bleak future prospects, he befriends a young African American coworker who helps, challenges and brings him face to face with his past and possibly his future. 

N.I.G.G.E.R. by Shá Cage

Blending monologue, song, interviews and movement, this provocative new work features over 10 diverse characters and their related stories. N.I.G.G.E.R. is an experimental examination of the residual impact of this word (through a female lens). Cage will showcase various segments of this work-in-progress.
