The Memory Library
DescriptionDotty is literally imprisoned within the walls of her own memory—until her desire to find a husband prompts a sudden quest for freedom. The Memory Library is a haunting and theatrical play about rebuilding a past you barely remember.
PROFILES
DescriptionIt's just another night of popcorn and Jeopardy, when Mr. and Mrs. Hopkins receive a phone call that changes their lives forever. Through turns both harrowing and humorous, PROFILES explores how an unthinkable act of violence echoes through the lives of the perpetrator's family, as they struggle to find relief and forgiveness in a rapidly disintegrating world.
Director: Hal Brooks
Cast: Terry Hempleman, Charity Jones, Hugh Kennedy, Ron Menzel, Mo Perry, John Skelley
Lake Untersee
DescriptionRocky, a troubled teenager, longs to leave his parents and their twisted relationships behind and journey to the dangerous terrain of Antarctica, where the love of his life is buried under layers and layers of ice.
The Strangler
DescriptionSomewhere in a small suburban town, a storm is gathering and a killer is on the loose. Mr. and Mrs. Thompson settle in for a normal night at home, until someone knocks on their front door ... and it's not their daughter.
THE HOOT OWL: an opera for headphones
DescriptionThree unrehearsed performers receive headphones and iPods loaded with pre-recorded instructions that are performed in real time before a live audience. From a combination of song, dance, and absurdity emerges the hilarious and moving story of three Southern women, dressed in camo, departing for a weekend of deer hunting and “male”-bonding. This gripping and theatrical performance tackles the politics of role-playing, deer hunting, and—the most controversial of them all—cornbread.
