Jared Zeigler is a queer Minnesotan theater artist thrilled to be joining Playwrights' Center as the Casting and Producing Associate. As a stage manager, he has supported artistic teams and stories with theaters across the metro including Frank Theatre, Theatre Latte Da, Playwrights' Center, Guthrie Theater, Mixed Blood, the Moving Company, and Workhaus Collective, among others. He has helped produce theater and performance at Park Square, Theatre Novi Most, Interact Center for the Visual and Performing Arts, the Museum of Russian Art, and the Northfield Arts Guild. From 2013 to 2016, he created queer performance work under the name HOMO HOTDISH with collaborators Ryan Patrick and Chase Burns. They created in partnership with Bedlam Theatre, PlaceBase Productions, and 20% Theater Company as part of the inaugural Q-Stage series, in addition to their own self-produced work. Jared holds a BA in Theater Arts from the University of Minnesota with emphases in stage management and ensemble devised new play creation. He loves wandering the neighborhoods of Minneapolis with his dog Farlie and makes an outstanding tater tot hotdish.
