Sibyl Kempson is a 2014 USA Rockefeller Fellow

Playwright Sibyl Kempson, who was the 2013-14 McKnight National Residency and Commission Fellow at the Playwrights' Center, has been awarded a 2014 United States Artists Rockefeller Fellowship.

Representing eight creative disciplines, each Fellow receives an unrestricted $50,000 award and recognition as one of America’s most accomplished and innovative artists.

During her fellowship year at the Playwrights' Center, Sibyl developed The Securely Conferred, Vouchsafed Keepsakes of Maery S. with director Shawn Sides and composer Graham Reynolds.
