Sam Collier is a playwright, poet, and theater artist. Her play Daisy Violet the Bitch Beast King is the 2019 winner of the Modern Works Festival at Urbanite Theatre. Her other plays include Silo Tree, thing with feathers, Suit of Leaves, and Quiet, Witches. She co-hosts, with Sarah Cho, the playwriting podcast Beckett's Babies. She lives in Maine, where she teaches environmental writing and theater at Unity College. MFA: University of Iowa.
