At the PWC this week: Spelman and Morehouse Colleges

Students from Spelman and Morehouse Colleges are in residence at the Playwrights' Center this week with their instructor Erin Michelle Washington. They are continuing development on a piece called #BLK3000, which explores, says Erin, "BLK future through the lens of improvisation, clown, music, movement, imagination, and much more."

The students are also getting to know the Twin Cities and the theater community here, as well as participating in workshops with guest artists such as H. Adam Harris, Shá Cage, and Sharon Bridgforth. 

This residency is part of our New Plays on Campus program.
