Core Writer Marion McClinton is in workshop at the Playwrights’ Center this week, revisiting one of his first-produced plays, Police Boys. He will end his workshop with a public reading of the play. Please join us Friday, March 9 at 1 p.m. for this special event. The play will likely run around 3 hours, 30 minutes.
Police Boys is about the conflict and tensions between a group of police officers and the community they’re sworn to serve. Marion is collaborating with dramaturg Carlyle Brown and actors Darius Dotch*, James A. Williams*, Antonio Duke, Joy Dolo*, Darrick Mosley*, Terry Bellamy*, Kate Guentzel*, Terry Hempleman*, and Ryan Colbert* (*Member of Actors' Equity).
