Inspired by Kate Chopin's "A Story of an Hour", Eurydice Ascending is a one act play that follows Louise Mallard, a woman living during the late 19th century in St. Louis, and her struggle to find her personal identity despite the oppressive social norms for women and her own unhappy marrige.
