Biography

Addie Symonds is a Manhattan-based theatre-writer, photographer, and freelance cat sitter originally from Houston, Texas. After graduating from the University of Houston with a theatre degree 3 months into a global pandemic, she spent a very strange gap year teaching preschoolers at a fancy private school in Texas before moving to New York in 2021 to pursue her MFA. Her songs have been performed at Joe’s Pub and The Green Room 42. As a photographer, Addie has taken pictures in venues such as 54 Below, The Green Room 42, and Theatre Row where she also made her off-Broadway scenic design debut in June of 2022. Musicals: Mommy Issues with Adam LaPorte, Flatland with music by James Powers (coming soon to an internet near you), and Adderall Nation with music by Matt Graham.
