Emily is a MN based author who enjoys writing engaging, non-violent literature for children. Though generally focused on picture books and middle grade novels, Emily’s long-standing love of the stage has inspired her to write her first full length play. Emily has a BFA in theatre from the University of MN, Duluth with a double emphasis in Acting/Directing and Design/Technical.

In the spirit of Scandinavian folk and fairy tales, The Three Sisters and the Healing Crown follows the journeys of Linnea, Rania and Sylvi as they seek out a magical cure for their mortally ill mother.
