Gina Dropp is a playwright, director, small theater owner, and yoga instructor who enjoys connecting the creative mind to the body through movement and writing.
Biography

Gina Marie Dropp is an MFA candidate at Spalding University’s School of Professional and Creative Writing with a concentration in playwriting, due to graduate in November of 2021. Before pursuing her master's degree, Dropp received her Bachelor of Arts degree at Young Harris College in Theater, concentrating on directing, before moving to Chicago to work with The Second City and other comedy and traditional theaters around the city. Dropp strives to stay as adaptable as possible throughout her career by expanding her artists toolbox whenever she can. Dropp has worked as a stage manager, director, writer, and youth theater workshop leader over the years as she has focused in on her writing. In additional to writing, Gina is the owner and Artistic Director of the online theater company, Four Walls Theater, and a registered yoga instructor. Dropp hopes to collaborate in my theater spaces, traditional and otherwise to bring theater to more diverse audiences and work to make more equitable theater spaces wherever she goes. While the plays that Dropp writes draw from her personal experiences, she strives to tell stories that many can relate to and feel seen and heard, especially women.
