An playwright and actress, my practice is dedicated to increasing the volume of women's voices in theatre. I use alternative story structures and visual and aural storytelling to explode canonical, patriarchal tales written about women, re-telling tell them from the lived truth of women themselves. Most are focused on women over 50. I am based in Chicago and New Orleans.

Successes
My play Gerutha and Margaret, will receive a staged reading spring 2021 at Chicago Dramatists. Via a spiraling story structure Gerutha (Gertrude of Hamlet fame) and Margaret (Henry VI, Richard III) struggle to reclaim their actual story from that imprinted on them by Shakespeare and in doing so face the grim price paid for taking agency in their lives.
