Biography

Kermit Frazier’s plays have been produced at such theaters as the New Federal Theatre, the Milwaukee Repertory Theater, the Asolo Theater Company, Baltimore Center Stage, and the First Stage Children’s Theater.  His plays include Kernel of Sanity, Little Rock, Legacies, An American Journey, Dinah Washington Is Dead, Class Reunion, Outside the Radio, and Smoldering Fires.  His television work includes being a head writer for the popular children’s mystery series, Ghostwriter.  His fiction and creative nonfiction have appeared in such publications as Callaloo, The Chicago Review, Green Mountains Review, and American Theatre.  He is professor of English at Adelphi University, where he teaches in the M.F.A. program in creative writing.
