Biography

Atlanta-based playwright Margaret Baldwin has produced her plays and ensemble works throughout the U.S. and abroad. Recent works include Night Blooms, winner of the Gene Gabriel Moore Playwriting Award (Horizon Theatre 2010; VA Rep 2012); In the Twilight: Chekhov Stories Retold (Kennesaw State University 2013); and Round inspired by a story by Gertrude Stein (7 Stages 2013). She regularly creates works at the KSU Department of Theatre and Performance Studies where she serves as Senior Lecturer. Margaret holds an MFA from the Iowa Playwrights Workshop. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild, the Playwrights’ Center, and TCG.
